  • Navexio’s Clinical Trial Navigators can assist patients with the cancer clinical trial process including clinical trial information and paperwork, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure smooth screening, enrollment and participation. In other words, Navexio can act as a liaison between patients, their medical team, and the clinical trial centre doesensuring clear communication and that all patient needs are addressed throughout the trial.

  • Screening of patients for clinical trials is an important part of patient enrollment. The screening step in a clinical trial involves confirming eligibility for the trial, by reviewing the inclusion and exclusion criteria, informed consent, necessary testing, and final clinical trial registration and enrollment requirements. Navexio can support various steps in the process by helping answer questions from the clinical trial site, providing clinical trial information to the Patient, providing medical records, coordinating additional required testing, interpreting complex eligibility criteria, and facilitating communication with trial sites. Navexio also ensures Patients continue to receive support after enrollment, helping to streamline participation and empower informed decision-making.

  • If the clinical trial is not located in the Patient’s city or even country, they will most likely need to travel (by car or airplane) to the clinic site for screening, enrollment, and study-related procedures. However, Navexio can work with the Patient, family and the cancer clinical study team to minimize their travel by helping to facilitate virtual consultations and coordinating some of the care at their local hospital, if possible.

  • Generally, Navexio will recommend cancer clinical trials in the USA, Canada, and Europe. By assessing the Patient’s clinical profile, medical history, and your mobility/ travel preferences, Navexio can perform a global search, and work with their healthcare team to find and confirm the most appropriate clinical trial for you.
